Mini Miss Wool Pageant

November 14-15, 2025

Come join us on Friday & Saturday November 14th & 15th, 2025 for the Downtown San Angelo Mini Miss Wool Pageant. The pageant is a tribute to the original Miss Wool Pageant of America that was held right here in San Angelo several decades ago. The event will be held at The Brooks & Bates Theatre at 82 Gillis St. in San Angelo, TX. Friday’s activities include food & drinks, live music, and educational displays, with the Pageant occurring on Saturday evening. The pageant will feature three age groups for girls aged 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14. Don’t Miss Out on the Most Exciting Weekend of Your Life – Join Us Now!

Downtown San Angelo, Inc. is thrilled to announce the return of the Downtown Trick or Treat Fest – an unforgettable evening of costumes, candy, pumpkins, and plenty of spooky fun!

Don’t miss out on the Halloween fun in downtown this year!
What to expect
~ Trick-or-Treating: Bring your little goblins and ghosts for a night of trick-or-treating at participating local businesses. Fill up your treat bags with delicious candies and goodies.
~ Games and activities: Enjoy a variety of games and activities for all ages.

Tips for a spooktacular time
1. Come in costume: Dressing up is half the fun of Halloween! Whether you go for a classic witch or a superhero costume, make sure to dress to impress.
2. Bring a trick-or-treat bag: Make sure to bring a sturdy bag or bucket to collect all your sweet treats. You’ll want plenty of room for all the goodies you’ll be getting.
3. Stay safe: Remember to stay with your group and look both ways before crossing the street. Safety first, even for Halloween!

🎃 Pearl on the Concho – Bring the little ones for fun games and sweet treats! The Pearl is joining in the Halloween spirit with kid-friendly activities and plenty of candy to go around.
🍕 Old Central Firehouse Pizzeria & Taproom – The Firehouse crew is giving out goodie bags to all the trick-or-treaters who visit!
🍫 Cowboy-Up Chocolates – Sweet tooths, saddle up! Cowboy Up Chocolates will be handing out candy and sharing their signature Western charm downtown.

About Fort Concho -
“Established in 1867, along the banks of the Concho River, Fort Concho was built to protect frontier settlements, patrol and map the vast West Texas region, and quell hostile threats in the area. Constructed for the most part of native limestone, Fort Concho consisted of at least forty buildings and covered more than 1600 acres. Today, Fort Concho National Historic Landmark encompasses most of the former army post and includes twenty-four original and restored fort structures. The Competition Coordinators and the Judging Panel are considered the “Competition Officials.” The competition is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to develop viable business plans that will create new ventures or expand existing businesses in San Angelo.
