Come join us at 9:00AM on Friday & Saturday, October 18-19, 2019 at El Paseo de Santa Angela (20 E. Avenue D) for the Downtown San Angelo Brews, Ewes, & BBQ festival. The festival will consist of a home brew beer competition and BBQ cookoff featuring brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and lamb. All ages are welcome so bring the family! Competition Registration

Do you cook the meanest brisket this side of the Rio Grande? Maybe you have the best home brew recipe in the state? We'll be the judge of that! Teams or individuals are encouraged to sign up in order to compete in either the BBQ and/or the home brew competition. Fees are $200.00 for the BBQ cookoff, and $50.00 for the homebrew competition. Cookoff participants will need to bring all food that they wish to cook, however lamb shoulder (donated by Capra) will be provided to each participant for free. Participants are encouraged to bring their own generators, however electricity will be provided for an additional $25.00 fee.

Kids Que Competition

Brews, Ewes & BBQ is always fun for the whole family but this year the Kids get to get in on the action. This year we will be featuring a Kids BBQ Competition on Saturday the 19th. There will be the Hamburger competition for ages 6-10 and the Pork Chop competition for ages 11-15. There is a $25 entry fee to be paid the day of the event and all kids must be accompanied by an adult while they participate. All meats for the competition will be provided. Turn in time for judging is 4:30pm.

Vendor Registration

We are currently seeking vendors for the event. If you are a maker and seller of arts & crafts, hand-crafted goods, or anything inbetween then we have a place for you! Limited space is available so register as soon as possible. There is a $50 booth fee and you must bring your own tent and/or booth to cover an area no larger than 10x10. We hope to see you there!
